LUIS SOLANA is an expert in end-to-end supply chain management across diverse industries and regions. Dedicated to spotting, unchaining, and scaling top supply chain technology start-ups and private equity platforms to drive EBITDA growth, while enhancing corporate boards with strategic functional acumen.

Solana is a US Citizen, originally from Mexico, who has lived across the United States, Mexico and Brazil, hence, tri-lingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He has held roles for American, European, and Asian organizations, where, with his multi-cultural acuity, he has built functional partnerships, to deliver powerful shareholder results. Known for his ability to lead large-scale physical and digital initiatives across best-in-class brands (Henkel, Bridgestone, Coty, Colgate-Palmolive, DHL). As a leader, he operates in a caring and coaching way, inspiring hearts and minds.

Luis is a Member of LCDA (Latino Corporate Directors Association), PDA (Private Directors Association), ACG (Association for Corporate Growth), and BMC (Blackmore Connects); he is also affiliated with Tompkins Ventures as Business Partner and Coach, and with Ceiba Capital Partners and Cambridge Capital as a Private Equity Operating Advisor. Luis is also an Investor in Latino entrepreneurial ventures, as a Limited Partner in Angeles Ventures fund, and as an independent investor in Angeles Investors.

LUIS SOLANA holds a master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School (HBS), and an industrial engineering degree from Universidad Panamericana. He is accredited by HBS Executive Education in Foundations of Private Equity and Venture Capital, and in Competing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.

Solana attended a Board of Directors Readiness program at HBS; he is certified by the Diligent Institute in Human Capital, Compensation and Culture, and is in process of certification by the LCDEF Board Ready Institute. He served on the Board of Directors of the Nashville Symphony and is a member of the Strategic Executive Advisory Council for Fourkites, and a Board observer for Valiot.
